Don't pick the destination. Let us surprise you.

You tell us your dates, your budget comfort, your vibe, and your absolute no-gos. We hand-build the entire trip — where to stay, what to do, where to eat, day by day — and reveal the destination 2–4 weeks before you travel.

You book the flights, hotel and experiences yourself using our links, so you keep control of your money, your points and your cancellation terms. We do the thinking. You get the surprise.

This is a waitlist, not a booking. We're opening mystery trips to a small founding group first so we can gauge interest and get it right.

Matched to you

How a mystery trip works

  1. 1. You set the guardrails

Dates, trip length, budget comfort, vibe, and the things you absolutely don't want. Nothing gets picked that breaks your rules.

  2. 2. We pick and verify

We choose a destination that fits, then check hotel and experience availability for your actual dates — with backup options for anything that could sell out.

  3. 3. The reveal

2–4 weeks before you travel, you get the sealed reveal: your destination plus a full day-by-day plan, hotel shortlist, experiences, restaurants, and direct booking links.

  4. 4. You book it

You make every booking yourself, in your name. If something's gone by the time you go to book, tell us and we rebuild that part within 48 hours.

What you pay for — and what you don't

You're paying for a fully planned, hand-researched itinerary — not a package tour. That keeps you in control of every booking and every dollar.

Included

  • A surprise destination chosen around your guardrails
  • Day-by-day itinerary with stays, transport & experiences

We're still finalizing pricing, but founding members on the waitlist can expect rates in the $149–$249 range for a full trip plan — less than most travel-advisor planning fees, with no commissions or markups on your bookings.

Straight answers

What is a mystery trip?

A mystery trip is a surprise vacation where you share your dates, budget and travel style, and someone else chooses the destination. Seven Sunsets reveals your destination and full day-by-day itinerary before you travel, so you still book your own flights and hotel.

Are mystery vacations legit?

Yes. Reputable surprise travel companies plan real, bookable trips. Seven Sunsets is a planning service: you get a researched itinerary with real booking links, not a locked package tour.

How much does a mystery trip cost?

You pay for planning only. Flights, hotels and excursions are booked by you at the prices you choose, so your total cost stays under your control.

Can I do a mystery trip solo?

Yes. Solo mystery trips are one of the most requested versions, and every plan is built with solo-friendly neighborhoods, daytime arrivals and safe transit in mind.

Is the trip itself included?

No. Flights, hotels, and experiences are booked and paid for by you. You're paying us for the planning, the curation and the surprise — not for a packaged tour. That's what keeps it flexible and lets you use your own points and cards.

What if I hate the destination?

That's what the no-gos are for. Tell us where you've already been and what you'd never do, and we'll never send you there.

How far ahead do I need to book?

Plan on at least 45 days before travel. That gives us time to verify availability and still leaves you a sane window for flight prices.

What if a hotel sells out before I book?

Every reveal includes verified backups, and we'll rebuild any part of the plan within 48 hours if inventory disappears.
